What a week. He’s such a funny little man. I seriously wonder what’s going thru his head sometimes. He had another growth last week and almost completely stopped spitting up. He’s so much more active now. We took a weekend trip to Boston and this is what he did:
Yes, can you believe it? The one weekend when we leave him alone, he goes and rolls over like that. He hasn’t officially rolled over from his back to belly yet but belly to back is done. It was the first weekend where we left him for more than one night. Since he was one we have left him with our parents for a night here or there, but never for 2 nights. It was so crazy because when I woke up on Saturday, I almost canceled the trip. I thought to myself, “who can leave him?!” Next time it will be for like 4 days, so we’re slowing building up.
We found two daycares that we are looking at now. We visited Pumpkin Patch this morning and really liked it. It’s a chain and I liked it more than I thought I would. We’ll go see one more next week and decide by this time next week where he will start. I can’t believe in like 10 days he’ll be in daycare. It’s so crazy.
This week he started putting his first finger in his mouth. He likes sucking on it. We have to break him of that habit since we do NOT want him to use any fingers to suck on.
I think we’ll start him on size 3 diapers as soon as we are out of the ones that are open.
