Week 34
Wow – time is flying by. Where did half of April go? Veer is getting bigger and bigger by the day. He is doing more nakhara every day. His hair is growing with his personality (see the new picture). I can’t believe just a few months ago he was a bald little man.
We are going to have to start getting some of his new summer clothes out. On Monday I was working from home and after I took his weekly picture, I went back to work. When he was ready to go to daycare, I went upstairs to check on him a few minutes later and Anand has Veer in his car seat without any pants on. He is in his white-it’s-Monday-picture-day-onesie. I couldn’t stop laughing so I let it be and sent him to daycare in his onesie. Anand said that it’s hot outside and that’s okay if he doesn’t wear his pants. It was the funniest thing in the world. Who knew babies could have chicken legs?!

Week 33
We attended our friend, Nimesh’s wedding this weekend in NJ.
Veer slept over Parsippany for the first time without being there. His nana and
nani had a ball. They got to see first-hand some of his antics (fake crying,
constantly wanting attention, everything in his mouth). Last week we noticed he
put tissues in his mouth and that almost gave me a heart attack. He wouldn’t open
his mouth and when I finally pulled it out of his mouth, he thought it was
funny. Who knew tissues could be a choking hazard.
Here is clip I took earlier. He does everything I’ve been talking about lately. Moving, sitting, wiggling, talking, toes in mouth, crying.

Week 32
He still has that nasty runny nose that started late last week. Its so bad that when he sneezes a big snot comes out. Every time. And he got a lick of it this morning. When I couldn’t stop laughing, he started laughing. He thought it was the funniest thing licking his snot. He’s doing much better with his milk. He drinks about 4 times a day and gets his required intake. Still waiting’ on his tooth to sprout. Still waiting’ for his first official word. Still waiting on him to hold his bottles when drinking his milk.
