We attended our friend, Nimesh’s wedding this weekend in NJ.
Veer slept over Parsippany for the first time without being there. His nana and
nani had a ball. They got to see first-hand some of his antics (fake crying,
constantly wanting attention, everything in his mouth). Last week we noticed he
put tissues in his mouth and that almost gave me a heart attack. He wouldn’t open
his mouth and when I finally pulled it out of his mouth, he thought it was
funny. Who knew tissues could be a choking hazard.
Here is clip I took earlier. He does everything I’ve been talking about lately. Moving, sitting, wiggling, talking, toes in mouth, crying.
He is now eating and drinking like a normal person. He gets
milk for breakfast. A snack around 10, then milk, then lunch, then milk,
another snack, milk and dinner. Sometimes a little milk right before he goes to
sleep. I made pears and kiwi at home this week and he likes it so far. I have
an avocado that I might give him later this week.
As much as I love just writing about Veer, I feel like I need
to write about what’s going on in our lives too. So, starting today… you guys
will get bits about our life with and without Veer.
Our week recapped:
Nimesh’s wedding without Veer was awesome. As much as we
love him, I love that sometimes we can just hang out without him. I partially
feel guilty writing this, but every once in a while a night without Veer is
just what we need. And I realize no matter what I try to conjure up, our life is
different now. For the better. But still… It was great seeing my friends from
college. Here’s the gang at the end of the night.
We spent the night at Asha's house and for a 1/2 a second it felt like I was back in college. Chips, salsa and dip for snacks and M&M and disney mugs for coffee. Yup, college all over again.
Random thoughts: I wish Instagram would let me use their filter
without having to “publish” the pictures. I love love love their filter and
want to use them on a lot my pictures. And here is the little noise maker at 33 weeks.
