Poor little boop has bronchitis. He’s on antibiotics right now. Last Wednesday I fed him his regular meal with cereal on the side and he threw it all up because he was coughing so much. At that point we decided to see the doctor. She confirmed he’s sick and gave him antibiotics. He’s feeling much better now but last week I just felt so bad for him. He’s also eating or drinking a lot less now. He should be doing 6oz about 5-6 times a day. He’s been doing about 3-4oz 5-6 times a day. We started him on veggies this week. He had squash with his cereal two days ago and loved it. I mean loved it. I might try sweet potato later this week. The squash came from a bottle, but I will make the potatoes myself.
We went to NJ and met Colby. We were sad we couldn’t bring Veer with us. But we couldn’t risk him infecting that little peanut Colby. He’s such a cutie pie. Maybe in the summer we’ll be able to get some pictures of the boys together.
This week feels like it has been the longest week so far. I just feel so bad for Veer because he’s sick. He, however, almost never complains. The only times he complains is when he doesn’t want to drink milk. If he didn’t cough, you wouldn’t even know he is sick. As soon as you sit him up or put him down to play he’s happy. It amazing how the cough doesn’t phase him.
