This weekend was one of the best I have had in a long time. On Saturday Veer and I went to Kavita’s house to help her with some yard work. I did the most minimal work possible, not by choice, but because we cannot leave Veer alone. He gets into everything. So anyways, after it being 100 degrees outside, Kavita decided to take Veer in her neighbors pool and from what she told me he loved it. I caught him at the very end of his play time in the pool and here is the little monkey having a grand time in the pool.
On Sunday I had a bride to do so I was up at like 3:45AM to make sure and reach her by 4:30. I was done with her hair/makeup by like 8:30 and with a large cup of coffee in me, I couldn’t go to sleep once I came home. So instead Anand, Veer, and I just hung out for hours. Later in the day I made a big batch of Veer’s food which although isn’t hard, it is time consuming. I was glad to have that chore behind me. At least I know he will be fed while I am in Puerto Rico this weekend and we are all set for the 4th of july holiday. He’s staying at his nana and nani’s house while I am in PR for Hiral’s bachelorette party. My parents are beyond psyched.
Veer is now walking along the couch and ottoman. He can get from one side to next and I think in the next couple of weeks he’ll be able to do it without help. We took him to the grocery store last week and he was in awe. It was sensory overload for him. He seriously didn’t know what to look at.
